Lifespan: erase and write over 1 million times

    Hi fresh123... to give you the best answer, we need some context so we're not guessing -- and we need your opinion. Here's an example of what we mean by context -- it may not have anything to do with your question, but it may give you an idea of what we look for:

    I'm writing a line about a flash drive and want to say that the user can write to the drive and erase the data over one million time/times. Which of these two sentences is correct? (I think it is the first one.)
    Lifespan: erase and write over 1 million times
    or
    Lifespan: erase and write over 1 million time
