What's the difference between the expression "like father like son" and "the apple doesn't fall farr from the tree"? Does one of them refer to physical looks and the other refer to characters? Or are they completely interchangeable?
Thanks in advance

For me, "like father like son" would be about habits/behavior.

"the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" could be both about habits/behavior and also looks.
