Olá!

Não entendi o espírito da coisa, pois acho que majority e most são a mesma coisa. I think I'm missing something here.
Poderiam colaborar?

Leadership authors, for example, report that the leaders they call multipliers - leaders who make others around them smarter and more capable - are ferocious listeners who...don't just listen the majority of the time. They massively shift the ratio, listening most of the time.

Autores em assuntos de liderança, por exemplo, relatam que os líderes que eles chamam de multiplicadores - aqueles que tornam as pessoas que os cercam mais inteligentes e mais capazes - são ouvintes ardorosos que...don't just listen the majority of the time. They massively shift the ratio, ouvindo a maior parte do tempo.

Muito obrigada.

It seems like an editing error or typo because it doesn't follow well. Since they are using the term "ratio" I guess you could say that listening the majority of the time would be more than 50% of the time. So if they "massively shift the ratio" then you would expect that the the percentage of time that they listen would be extremely high, say 70%-80% or something, not just "most of the time." It is a strange repetition.
