Someone asked me if I had a girl, I said no. He then asked whether I felt lonely, I said:

Loneliness makes a real man.

I am wondering if this self-made expression sounds good to your ear. I want to express the idea that a man should know how to "taste" loneliness, to experience loneliness then he can be successful.

May I have your idea?

None at all, I'm afraid. Except perhaps to replace loneliness with something -- and that is an issue for a philosophy forum, I think.

Take a look at this and then decide Silver....

Loneliness is an unpleasant feeling in which a person experiences a strong sense of emptiness and solitude resulting from inadequate levels of social relationships. However, it is a subjective experience.[1] Loneliness has also been described as social pain - a psychological mechanism meant to alert an individual of undesired isolation and motivate her/him to seek social connections...

For me it's going to far....
