My dictionaries say floor tiles, but the article I was reading said "losetas y baldosas." Then, later in the magazine there was a picture of a kitchen with "baldosas" on the wall (definitely not floor tiles). Then I looked in another dictionary that said losetas could be floor or wall tiles, but only referred to baldosas as floor tiles.

Hola Gotita- This is not my realm. I just know that I have heard both used for pavers, and as to baldosas on the wall, I have, personally, used extra large Italian floor tiles for both a countertop and backsplash. I can't stand the little bitty things normally used for counter tiles.
