low and hard

Hi all,

What does "low and hard" mean here?

Before the final, I told the manager that two of the opposition penalty-takers always kick it low and hard into the bottom right corner.

    Each word has its normal meaning - the ball is kicked so it stays close to ground (low) and it is kicked with much force (hard).
