Need help to translate into English
'l'ultima parola spetta a...'
Maybe "the last word is yours" or "I think you should have the last word (on this subject)".
thanks, but mine is a very formal context. The complete sentence in Italian is
L'ultima parola spetta a X, fondatore della Y, azienda leader....
I see. If it has to do with a decision to be made, maybe you could say "the final decision rests with X...". I'm sure a native speaker will come to the rescue very soon
