Lump sum

Hi everyone

Are these 2 sentences all right?

I want to buy something and I want to make one single payment, say, with cash.
- I will pay lump sum.

On the other hand, I would like to make several payments on a monthly basis:
- I would like to pay in installments.

In case this is correct but not usual, could you tell me what is?

Thank you

Your first sentence would sound better if you changed it just a little: I will pay you in one lump sum.

Your second sentence sounds very natural.

No. "I will pay lump sum" doesn't sound natural although I can understand it. If you don't like the other suggestion, please remember to include an article in your shorter version: I will pay a lump sum.
