Hi!

I would like to know how British People name a "maître de maison": that is to say the person who takes care of all the residents' needs in a big luxury residence..

Thank you!

I would say 'a butler' like in the film or book 'the remains of the day'

    un concierge (immeuble) a caretaker - a caretaker"s lodge : une conciergerie

"Intendant" can be ok in French
"a Butler"only looks after the master of the house or looks after the whole household?
