    Hello,

    I am trying to translate:

Seeing two cars outside of his house made him break out into a cold sweat.

    My attempt:
L’image de deux voitures de police à l’extérieur de sa maison lui donna des sueurs froides

I am just not sure if this phrase sounds natural or not.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Rebeca

It does sound natural, except for the "à l’extérieur de sa maison" part.

    Try "devant chez lui".

I am not sure about l'image, either, but right now I can't think of anything. La vue, maybe?

Possibly: la présence de 2 voitures ....
