Magnet helped Stanley to his feet

Senior Member
In the book 'holes' page 90

Stanley brought his fingers up the side of his neck. He felt his wet blood and a pretty big gash just below his ear.
Magnet helped Stanley to his feet, then up and out of the hole.

Q1. Meaning for 'to one's feet' here.
Q2. Who is 'his'?

"His" refers to Stanley - Magnet helped Stanley to stand up.

When you are sitting/kneeling/lying etc. your feet are not in contact with the ground. When you "get to your feet", you are standing, because your feet are now on the ground - you are on your feet.
