If someone makes a mistake regarding something, what preposition should I use?
''Angela Merkel admitted making mistakes on/over/upon/about the refugees crisis.''
Thanks in advance.

You should use "regarding" or "in regard to" or "with regards to" or "in respect of". There might be others depending on context.
