Hello,
When I invite a friend to dinner at my place or in a restaurant, when can I say "make yourself at home" and when to say "be my guest" or "please help yourself"? Or are there some other better ways to express this? Thanks! :)

When your friend comes in your house you can say "make yourself at home" or "My house is your house". :)

When he/she ask for something (food, water) you can say "be my guest", " (please) help yourself".
