Hi all,
What does "make" mean in the sentence below???

One video from the scene shows a make police officer lying on the floor outside the hotel after being stabbed in the leg with another man sitting on the stairs appearing to hold a bleeding wound on his neck. Another man was shown being taken away in handcuffs after the suspect was shot dead.

Thank you. Now that I refreshed the page the word is changed to "male". I just copied and pasted the exact text without any change. (as it can be seen in the picture below.) That must have been a typo in the news text which the news editor has just corrected it.
