Malocchio

What is the maloccio? Is it pronounced ma-lochio? How do you put it upon someone? All I can really find is that it is the evil eye. Also, how do you rid yourself of it?

that's a matter of superstition.
it's malocchio and we say
gettare il malocchio su qualcuno = to cast the evil eye on someone.

Maybe to know how to cast the evil eye on someone or how you can cure it you must go to a magician.

I don't believe in such things so my advice is to consider them for what they are: means to deceive people
