    Im new here :)
Morgen habe ich eine wichtige Prüfung, und ich habe eine Frage:confused:

Im not sure about the difference between:
    - irgendein
    - manch
    - manch ein
    - welch

I understand these words, but I don't know when I have to use them.

Bitte, können sie mir helfen? :)

Hallo and welcome to the WRF.
Let me give you some examples.

    Irgendein Haus - any house.
Manch (ein) schönes Haus - many a beautiful house
Welch (ein) schönes Haus! - what a beautiful house!

    Perhaps that will help you.

I believe that ''manch ein'' is more poetic or higher register than just 'manch' (difference between manches Haus/manche Häuser and manch ein Haus: like in English between many houses and many a house: The latter is higher register in my view).

The meaning is the same, but maybe the register is higher.
    I think I get it.
    Thank you! :)

    Deutsch (Hochdeutsch und "Frängisch")
    I don't think so.
Personally, I use the version which fits better to the rythm of the sentence.
