Manifeste d'embarquement

    i am translating a document on shipping.

    I need help in translating "manifeste d'embarquement" please.

    "Suivant manifeste d'embarquement, le navire est porteur d'une cagaison..."

    If it's a passenger ship, "Passenger manifest"

    I was thinking shipping or loading manifesto.

    what do you think? is that off the subject?

    Not manifesto. Yes, I thought about "loading manifest" as well. I guess it depends on the exact context. But any of the above could apply. Anyone else can shed some light for us?

    WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MANIFEST AND MANIFESTO,

    Hmm good question! Maybe someone else can help, but I think of a manifest as a list of content, and a manifesto (as in political party manifesto) as a list of intent.
