I was hoping someone would be able to help me translate "marble-smooth" into French, or at least point me in the right direction.

Here is the context:

"a fine sweep of brown hair descending along both sides of marble-smooth skin".

    "Une peau lisse comme le marbre", if you want to keep the image. Yet in French we rather tend to say "froid comme le marbre". I can't think of another image for the moment, I hope someone else has an idea. Or maybe "parfaitement lisse" would do.
