I would like express the concept that Mark is losing weight. BUT: I would like use the translation of an italian word "assottigliarsi" because I want use it. In italian we don't use that word the explain that concept but in my mind (italian mind) it works. So since I don't have english mind, I'm asking if it could work a bit or not. I thought that it could be even:
"Mark is making thin"; What do you think?

I think... not so much. :)

    Mark is getting thin.
    Mark is getting thinner.
Mark is making thin pizzas. (Now that works.)
