Hello everybody!

Can anybody help me to translate the following idiom into English?

"Me muero de la vergüenza"

The underlying meaning is "I'm veeeeeeeery embarassed" but I don't know whether there is an equivalent idiom in English.

Thank you!!

    Thanks! ^^

And how would you say that in the present tense? I'll give you a situation.

Imagine that you're parking you car in the car park of the company you work for and you hit your boss's car by accident. Could you say then "I almost died of embarassment"? Or would you say "I almost die of embarassment"?

Thanks to both, Jacinta & Doubter!!!
