me prendem com certeza irei ver

I'm translating survey responses about a movie, and this comment comes up:

"Emocionante quero muito ver o seriado parece ser de ação, aventura, política, e muito tiro e explosões gosto de séries assim elas me prendem com certeza irei ver se tem temporadas anteriores."

Would it be safe to assume that "prender" in the context would mean something like stimulate, inspire, motivate, etc. (as in "surely inspire me to go see")?

    I am not sure about what you don't understand.
    The sentence (all of it) doesn't make sense without punctuation.
    "me prendem com certeza irei ver" = "...(as séries) me prendem. Com certeza irei ver / verificar (se existem mais temporadas)..."
    I'm fond of this kind of Tv Shows. I will, for sure, check for previous seasons.
