Not sure if this is the right place to ask ...

What's the correct form of greeting (in Japanese) & actions when you meet your boss's Japanese wife for the first time?

Thanks.

  • お目にかかれて光栄です。
    いつも○○さんにはお世話になっています。
    はじめまして。○○と申します。
    はじめまして。○○です。

OK - My request wasn't clear enough.

Thanks for the reply but I don't speak/read Japanese!

Can anyone help me with the 'phrase-book' version - written in English text?

    Regards, Kevin

Here are the phonetic transcriptions of the four phrases with literal translations (in parentheses):

O me ni kakarete kouei desu. (I am delighted to be able to make your acquaintance)
Itsumo xxxx (boss's name) ni o sewa ni natte orimasu. (Mr. xxxx always takes such good care of me)
Hajimemashite. xxxxx (your name) to moushimasu. (pleasure to meet you. My name is xxxx)
Hajimemashite. xxxx (your name) desu. (Pleasure to meet you. I am xxxx)
