Would you please explaine what does the word 'meet' mean ?
Are there other words which have the same meaning of of 'meet' ?

Have you had a look at the Word Reference dictionary definitions for "meet"? I think this one fits the bill:

11 meet, fit, conform to

satisfy a condition or restriction; "Does this paper meet the requirements for the degree?"
