Non so come dire questa frase,
io proverei con queste:

"add cheese salt and mix together by a fork".
"add cheese salt and mix together through a fork".

  • There's nothing wrong with "mix together", but nowadays extra words - prepositions usually - are added to cookery explanations all the time - so we "fry off" and "reduce down" , etc. It sounds "professional", but it doesn't impress me. "mix with a fork/ or mix together with a fork" are both acceptable.
