1) In the English/German dictionary under mincemeat it states that the term 'ground meat' is a UK expression. It is not. 2) There is a distinction between mincemeat, for which no German translation is available, only a description, as this item is virtually unknown in German-speaking countries. It is a 'Teigfüllung, die aus getrockneten Früchten, Zucker, und Talg besteht' whereas minced meat is 'Hackfleisch' or 'Burgerfleisch'. Most of the definitions given are correct, but the two entries have confused the meanings somewhat and seem to imply that mincemeat is the same as minced meat. Mincemeat is never 'Hackfleisch' as it never contains any real meat (only fat)
