    I guess this is about gunfights on the street. But why "mix ’em and cook ’em in a pot like gumbo"?

    Pure creativity on the part of Mr. Cube. The message is that he can do whatever he wants because he's dominant.

    Gumbo rhymes (sort of) with mumble and rumble, and it's funny and memorable. That's why he chose the metaphor.
