Modest + enough

< Previous | Next >
Hello everyone,

Does the phrase "modest enough" sound natural/correct in the examples I made below?

a. As a teacher, you must be modest enough to understand that you don't know everything and that you'll always have something to learn.
b. I'm glad I was modest enough to admit I had to go on studying after I finished college. That was very important to my career.

Meaning intended: not too proud of yourself or your achievements; humble.

Thank you in advance!
