Dear all
What's your interpretation for "moisture-beaded" in the following context, chosen from "The Three Soldiers" by Dos Passos:
Once he stopped and leaned for a long while against the moisture-beaded stern of a street-lamp.
Does it mean that the street-lamp is wet with drops of water or rain?

I'm finding it hard to imagine the 'stern of a street lamp', but the 'moisture beaded' surface could be as a result of condensation as in a fog.

    Thanks dear shawnee.
As for "stern of a street-lamp" please see se16teddy's comment in my thread with the same title.
