Hi everyone,
I hope someone out there can help - I have run out of resources. I am translating an exhibition catalogue and have come across a word I have never heard of before and not a single dictionary (online or otherwise) I have found provides a meaning or translation.
The full sentence is " Chi non la conosce può immaginarla gracile, pallida, un po’ leziosa e «morbinosa»".
Thanks in advance for any help offered.
:)

It is Venetian dialect ('Le Morbinose' is a Goldoni's play) and it should mean 'allegra', 'scherzosa' (cheerful, humorous). It comes from the word 'morbin' (allegria, buonumore, gioia di vivere).
