(?) Mr. Green will praise Tom much more than Miss White will Mary.

    I understand sentence #1, below, is grammatically correct. Is sentence #2 grammatically correct, too?
    1. Mr. Green praised Tom much more than Miss White did Mary.
    2. Mr. Green will praise Tom much more than Miss White will Mary.

    For what it's worth, it sounds okay and grammatical enough, in my opinion.

    Yes, they are both correct. "Praise" is implied after the second "will" in sentence #2.
