Muscular or muscled?

    'He is very well muscled' :tick:means the same as 'He is very muscular'. :tick:
    Also correct is: 'He is heavily muscled'. :tick:

    'He is very muscled':cross: is not correct.

    Or you could simply say: ''He is very muscly''.
    Being a bodybuilding aficionado myself, I've never heard anyone say, ''he is heavily muscled'', despite its being grammatically correct.
