Hi, how do you translate Mute / Unmute?

I'm translating an app and I don't know how to translate these two words. If you can, I need the shortest alternative.

Could silențios / zgomotos work?

Zgomotos means noisy. what is the context though?

If you’re refering to the ringer mode, use “sonerie”: Sonerie/Silențios este preferat (ringer ON, ringer OFF).
For a microphone, Silențios (silent) ON/OFF can be used for mute/unmute. Using more words to be accurate, you could use (Microfon) in mod Activ/Silențios.
