    Hello!

I find it hard to dissect the orange sentence. Could somebody help me? Using other words, maybe...

Shelves of books have been written on these ideas. My intention is not to rehash them, but to convey the conceptual mind set prominent in my student days and one still with the average scientist today, not to mention the general public. Perhaps it persists in part because it is easy to grasp and usefull to a point - just as Newton's mechanics are still usefull, even though everyone has known for decades that Einstein's relativity is a more accurate description of the universe. But the standard view also persists because no one has brought the public up to date regarding our changing concepts of how the brain works and laid out the big picture.

    Kind regards, Nancy

My intention is not to rehash them Mon intention n'est pas de régurgiter (tout ce qui a été déjà écris sur le sujet)
but to convey the conceptual mind set mais de transmettre/exprimer l'opinion concetuelle
prominent in my student days prééminente lorsque j'étais etudiant
and one still with the average scientist today toujours en accord avec le scientifique moyen
not to mention the general public. sans parler de l'opinion générale.

"régurgiter" c pas mal ça... Je n'avais pas tout à fait saisi ce qu'il voulait dire par là. Merci pour cet éclaircissement!!!
Le reste reste un peu flou au niveau de la structure mais ce n'est pas grave...
    Merci!
