I am curious is i have translated this correctly. I have a friend whom in english i call Tinkerbell because she loves fairies. I wish to have something to call her in italian, but i don't imagine Tinkerbell translates to anything other than Tinkerbell. So, would this sentance be correct?

    La mia fata piccola.
    My little fairy.

    Si?

Actually the Italian translation for Tinkerbell is Campanellino. ;)
However 'my little fairy' = 'la mia piccola fata' or 'la mia fatina'. :)

    Oh cool! Grazie ...amico? (friend..?)

    Oh, and p.s.

can you explain why in this sentance, piccola comes before fata and not after? I don't quite understand how to determine this yet.
