Hi,everyone:

i'm wondering what a line is used in a public sign in public places, such as hotels,to require people wear clothes.
Such rule may be applied in some formal occasions, while in other places, such as beaches, it is not applicable.

Would "No naked upper body" be ok?

Best wishes.

  • To be undressed on the upper body is to be topless. Generally dress codes are expressed by male attire. "Shirts must be worn" is an absolute minimum. But "Shirt and tie", "Lounge Suit" or "Black Tie" inform the female guests waht to wear by their male counterparts' dress code.
