    I would use "New Year's celebration(s)".

Is this about the Chinese New Year's celebrations/festivities?

    Welcome to WR, Yurika! :)

    Happy Year of the Monkey!

Well, it's *always* "New Year's Eve", so I'm going with "New Year's Celebration". Even if you leave of the last word and just say "New Year's" you use the s.
