For "It was nice meeting you" could you say "(Fue) encantado de conocerte"...?
The "encantado" in these greetings agrees with the speaker (literally "I was charmed to meet you", not "It...").
Online I found "Estuve" but not "Fui" with this; would native-speakers agree?

When saying "Encantado de conocerlo." Do the ends of 'encantado' and 'conocerlo' have to match. They both end with o or they both end with a?

Also, when is conocerle used and why?

(WR Forum 2008)

    Hi lemily,
If I am a woman, I will say: encantada...
If I am a man, I will say: encantado...

If you are talking to a woman: ...de conocerla a usted.
If you are talking to a man: ...de conocerlo a usted.
And also you could use with both man and woman: ...de conocerle a usted.
