How would "Niedriggespanntes EEG" be translated?

To me, "low-voltage" seems more reasonable and understandable than "flat". But I think it's all a little strange in this context - "niedriggespannt" as well as "low-voltage" and "flat".

I'm absolutely no expert in the field, but from what I've seen so far, I think that "niedriggespanntes EEG" is a perhaps more jargon version of "Niederspannungs-EEG" (which can be found more frequently on the Internet; for example here, Max Planck Gesellschaft), which should be the equivalent of "low-voltage EEG".

The signal recorded from ECoG is on a different scale of activity than the brain activity recorded from scalp EEG. Low voltage, high frequency components that cannot be seen easily (or at all) in scalp EEG can be seen clearly in ECoG.

When I got my EEG tested, the tester-psychologist said my EEG was "huratto/furatto" = flat = almost "dead" or too calm/inactive.
