Before hunting out a perfect expression, he will never release his work (maybe just a four-line poem, or even a couplet) , and also, he will never stop the try of perfecting his work. How should I describe that behavior?

    I'm afraid it's pretty much incomprehensible. Based on your explanation, I think you want to say something like:

    So-and-so is a perfectionist. He never finishes anything because he never stops searching for the perfect word.
