1- esta reunión está tan aburrida y no parece que valla a terminar pronto.
2- esta lluvia está fatal y no parece que valla a terminar pronto.

Ese "y no parece que valla a terminar pronto" es bastante idiomático en el español que hablamos en Costa Rica; tambien lo es " y parece que va para largo". Ambas significan lo mismo. Se puede decir como lo siguiente:

1- this meeting is so boring and it doesn't seem it's coming to an end soon.
2- this rain is terrible and it doesn't seem it's coming to an end soon. ?

Como siempre,solo pongo lo que creo que es correcto, pero simpre espero que me digan como se dice en inglés natural del dia a dia.

    Pero tu version "it doesn't look like it's going to end anytime soon" es la que naturalmente dirias como hablante nativo,verdad?

    Bueno, es una, pero hay muchas que serían igualmente válidas:

    ... it looks like it's going to drag on forever.
    ... it shows no sign of coming to an end.

    Etc.
