A: Can you do these difficult exercises?
B: No problem / It's a piece of cake.

- Do the two answers above fit the situation here?

Thanks a lot!

There's a singular/plural problem with a piece of cake. We've got two exercises; each is a piece of cake. They are not a piece of cake, and they are not pieces of cake either.

So I'd say no problem. For some reason that doesn't seem open to the same objection.
