Doing researches on a specific plant, I have come across the wording "non-brittle shrub" in the following sentence

"The plant is a non-brittle shrub, normally not more than about 30 inches tall (..)"

Is there a specific word in French for "non-brittle". I would say "non cassante" as a first try but it doesn't sound too good to me. I understand that, contrary to other "dry" and "brittle" plants usually bearing spines, this one has no spines and enough flexibility not to break easily.

Thanks to any expert who would provide me with the right wording in French.
