Hi, could someone help me translate non-commissioned officer (U.S army Grade) into French ?

    Tough one ;) Technically, in the French army, the lowest of the officers are the officiers subalternes. But you're right, there is such a thing as a sous-officier, since the army's structure is different: there are three categories of personnel in the French army: officiers (including officiers subalternes), sous-officiers (which are not officers), militaires du rang (enlisted).
