Ciao!

How would you say: "Stai attento a non impigliare il maglione in oggetti sporgenti".

I've tried with: "Be careful not to snag your sweater on prominent objects".

Is it ok?

Thanks

I would say simply " Be careful not to snag your jumper" (or sweater--in AE). It is sottointeso that to snag means precisely to "catch" (another way of saying "snag") material on objects that protrude.
