Nordic Languages: epic names.

This one is for the ones who enjoy literature.

I don't know if "old epic names" sounds redundant, but I've been looking for epic names. The mainly reason: I enjoy reading poems, essays, chronicles. I also play MMORPGs and I do appreciate use gaming names with a cool meaning or something like that.

Does anyone know epic names for male or female (mainly)? Some witch of the old times? Even better If the name is complex.

Let me get this straight: You are look for names of .... whom? Are you generally looking for cool, odd names in Norwegian or Norse?

Well, yes. Complex names. You see, "Lemminkäinen" is complex for me. Still using "Lemminkäinen" for example, I found out that he's one of the Heros of Kalevala. Things like that. Epic tales, complex names. I don't know how to make myself clear now. I'm making a mess, I guess.
