normal for somebody to do something in this context

- It's normal for her to have people fussing over her.

In the sentence above I'm trying to say that some girl is used to having people over her. Would you take the sentence above to mean that if you ever heard it? I know the structure 'normal for someone to do something' can be used to talk about the way someone behaves but I'm wondering If this structure can also be used to talk about something that is normal and is, in a way, connected to her or has something to do with her like in the sentence above.

Hope you can clear up my doubts with regards to this grammar issue :)
