Perfective aspect cannot usually be expressed in the nonfinite clause, i.e. you can't say "*The man having won the race got the first prize."

But if we modify the object of a preposition using the perfective, it is OK, right?

He had not told me of his having been summoned.

Is this sentence really correct?

Absolutely correct.

It is actually an OK sentence, but it's a little akward. It would be much better to say "He did not tell me that he had been summoned."
