    Hello Neil

There is a rule in this forum that prohibits direct translations. However, dictionaries of Old Icelandic that are available online should give you clues about which words to use (as the differences between Old Icelandic and Old Norse are relatively small). You can then post again and ask us to provide comments.

This is like saying the difference between English and British English are relatively small. Old Icelandic is the Old Norse spoken in Iceland. And in fact if no other variety is specified Old Norse usually refers to Old Icelandic specifically because that's the variety the vast majority of the Old Norse corpus was written in. For instance every textbook on Old Norse teaches Old Icelandic.
