French to English omelette baveuse

Is fluffy omelette the translation that best reflects the texture of a (((perfect;)))) custardy, lightly underdone omelette baveuse?

  • Thanks Swift, I don't think that was quite right, although it is quite fluffy. Nonetheless, I'd think of a 'fluffy' omelette more as one with the whites beaten separately until they're stiff, then folded in (still shouldn't be dry, @ForeverHis :eek: ). Thanks for the link - that was really helpful.
     
    Compared to the classic French omelette, fluffy omelettes are considered somewhat dry. They certainly aren't "baveuses." ;)
