on melody lane

Clark to his family members:
- Hey, if any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one. I'd like Frank Shirley, my boss, right here, tonight. I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on melody lane with all the other rich people.

Christmas Vacation, movie

What did he mean by the bold phrase?
Thank you.

I imagine it's just a whimsical name for the street (lane) where all the rich people live ... where life is a song (melody).

I have two thoughts about this expression, Vik:

    1. Frank Shirley might live on a road called "Melody Lane."
    2. Clark may be using "Melody Lane" as a sarcastic name for the road where all the rich people live.
